History
Aviatic Jeans, founded in 1982 by Michel Faraut, was one of the major actors of the French denim culture in the 80s and 90s.
He revolutionized the denim world, with the mantra of creating superior quality jeans. Visionary, he was the first to believe in the quality of fabrics woven in Japan while keeping an Italian or French manufacture.
Enjoying an international reputation, the brand was established in the biggest capitals of the world: New York, London, Tokyo and Paris.
The early 2000s marked a page in the history of Aviatic with the departure of its founder.
2010 sounds the renewal of the brand: Alain Knafo, buys and relaunches Aviatic.
Alain Knafo is a major player in French denim , with over 40 years of experience in the textile industry.
The Knafo family then laid the foundations of what Aviatic will be: to perpetuate the initial mission by constantly seeking the best quality while respecting the family appeal of the house.
Our clothes are produced in family workshops with rich and expert knowledge in France and Portugal.
With the aim of perpetuating the historical know-how of countries such as Japan, Italy, France or the United Kingdom, we seek the highest quality grades for materials and accessories.
Aviatic revisits timeless and unique clothing, while keeping a red thread and signature style.
